Bought the Kahntrol clamp on muzzle brake \u2013 KSMB645 for my Remington 783 chambered
\nin 7mm magnum. I used the printed fitment gauge and straight forward instructions
\nto confirm selection and just ordered online.<\/p>\n
It’s a good quality device and barrel fit was spot on. Installation was easy. I’m
\nreally picky about my assembly so I took my time and had it aligned and checked in
\nno time. The results have completely satisfied my expectations. After putting
\ndozens of rounds down range, I could not be happier. This rifle is a total budget
\nsetup that always gets grins at the range.<\/p>\n
I was looking for a solution to tame my lightweight barrel and this product did just
\nthat. I’ve had this rifle for a couple years and before installing the brake I
\nstruggled with consistency. Follow-up shots on high magnification were just plain
\nfrustrating. I have a barska sightmark 5X20 50mm first focal\/mildot scope. At 20X
\nmag, the recoil would case me to readjust everything after getting all out of sorts
\nmaking follow up shots tough. After installing the brake, it’s like I’ve gotten a
\nwhole new rifle. All the things I liked about the gun just got better.<\/p>\n
The results were tighter groups and the ability to place swift accurate follow up
\nshots with high magnification scope settings at distance. My overall firing
\ntechnique is improving and I’m even able to visually track my rounds down range
\nunder the right conditions. I’m shooting factory Federal 175g thumpers and what a
\ndifference this brake has made! Accuracy, reproducibility, that’s what I
\nanticipated and is exactly what this product delivered.<\/p>\n
This Rem 783 may be a budget setup, but with the addition of this muzzle brake, the
\noverall performance is now up there with rifle setups many times the cost. All the
\ntrash talk from my range buddies about cheap rifle, cheap scope, that gun will never
\nshoot, blah blah… have caused them to close the ol’ pie hole.<\/p>\n
Great guys really, and for a while I thought they may have had a point. Just when I
\nthought the setup was about as good as I could get it, the Kahntrol brake pushed it
\nover the top.<\/p>\n
